Still needs a few odds and ends... body posts and battery strap, and of course a body. Any suggestions for the body? Trying to keep it "period" as much as possible. May end up switching out the ball cups for dubro maybe?

That came out pretty cool. Those huge tires look like they'd float on water. Don't try it!

awesome build. believe or not this is the exact setup my neighbor's rc10 had when i first raced my rc10 ce against him. i was running the stock mechanical speed control, stock motor, 6 sc cells, and on the 6 gear tranny. the only reason i beat him was because his diff was slipping like crazy. he had it like that because the hobby shop told him that's the way he was suppose to have it. he asked me about it before the race and i told him - sounds about right. LOL afterwards i told him that maybe he should tighten it up a bit.
thanks for sharing. i haven't thought about that guys' rc10 since i saw your build.
