RC10 Graphite with stealth trans 2.25 , 81/21. Car used on street and off road messing around, no track. This is the combo im looking at. Not looking for max speed.

Hobbywing 60A ESC

Turnigy 2S 5,000 mAh Lipo

Reedy 3,300 KV

Question- what is boost? Does this esc have that?

Only sensored ESC's coupled with sensored motors have boost and turbo. It is what's known as dynamic timing.

"Boost" is basically esc timing advance up to full throttle. Boost gives a feeling of added punch or an increase in power ie making a higher turn motor perform like a lower turn motor. This is fantastic for drivability.

"Turbo" is timing advance from full throttle till you back off. When you hit full throttle the timing still advances making the car continue to accelerate beyond.

Might want to replace the stock slipper as that will be the first one to give in with the power of the modern BL system.

HW has two flavour, either the xerun(sensored) ,or ezrun(sensoreless) are value for your money, have own the ezrun ans xerun(120 V2 &V2.1) so far no problems encountered.

Just dont forget to properly set the slipper or else it will fry your internals.

Heres mine with a 120A Xerun V2.1 tekin 8.5T motor.mod the slipper to use Avid triad slipper for max tuneability.
