Ok homies, I have one of each and I'm wondering which of the three would make a better racer with modern blinky setups? They will be raced on indoor mid to high bite clay type tracks and possibly an outdoor mid to low bite track. Thanks in advance.

I vote for the T2

The T3 would be the lightest of the 3, but either one would be fun. I have a 10T and T2 modern runner and they are both fun. The older 2 are little heavy due to the aluminum tubs compared the composite chassis of the T3.

I would assume that the T3 would be the "best" racer due to the newer, lighter design. If your goal is to win, then I'd definitely say T3. If your goal is to have fun, or to challenge yourself by trying to improve an older vehicle, then the T2 would probably be your best bet. There seem to be more hop-up parts available for the 10T, but the T2 uses the same basic suspension and a better trans (at least as far as gear ratios are concerned).

T3 would probably not fall into a vintage class.

Stick with T2.

While the T2 may be slightly heavier it has a better diff, also resulting in a better internal gear ratio. They went back to the same diff/ratio in the T4. The T2 is stronger and easier to get parts for.

thanks for all your input guys. we're attempting to start a vintage class in my area with the recent opening of two indoor clay tracks and one outdoor 10th scale track. how well does the stock setup work for the T2? I'll be running a Revtech Killshot HT stator and rotor 17.5 with shorties to minimize the weight. thanks again homies.

I enjoy driving the t2 far more, suspension is excellent and the 2.6 is buttery smooth.
