RC10GT Shredding the Track

Hi there, my first nitro vehicle was a Thunder Tiger Silver Fox back when I was a teenager. Ever since there's been nitro stadium trucks I've been a fan and have owned a few over time. I started with a Kyosho Nitro Rampage and although based on the Ultima which I'd had good success with wasn't really a well designed conversion. After seeing a Shumacher Nitro 10 I had to have one of those. This was quite a good truck, very tough, in fact it handled a 21 engine conversion no problem. Wheelies with a quarter throttle were no problem. About this time Team Associated joined in the fun with their first version of the RC10GT. My mate bought one and after driving it once I had to have one. I've owned a few since and this Factory Team one I've had for around 15 years now and it's still going great. It has a little rear exhaust slide carb Nova Rossi engine that's a real screamer in it, goes well. I never felt the urge to try the GT2, a mate bought one and said he thought the original was better. Here's some video of it rippin up the track. Hope you enjoy.

Pretty cool video, the GT is awesome and goes down as the best gas stadium truck in my books. You look like you know what your doing, engine looks well tuned and not a bad steerer to boot, it also looks reasonably well balanced. A couple non slo-mo laps would have been cool.

I dug one of my old GT trucks out a month or so ago to run but can't bring myself to run it.

Yea it's a fun little track to have a play, thanks. I tried to do a bit of both slow and fast, so you like less slow, good to know, thanks. The truck is just so fast you hardly see anything unless you slow it lol.

Thanks, the GT is a very nice truck, I've always had one since they were released. This one hasn't been run for a few years, I retired from racing back in 06. It gets dug out every now and then for a blast. That engine is a screamer and I can't kill it, it'd be 15 years old and has only ever had bearings replaced. Cmon run it, you know you want to lol.
