Quick question..

If I understand it correctly to run the VTS slipper on the GT electric conversion I'd need to replace the top shaft with the B4 part right?

What about the spur gear?

Guess I'll find out..

I ordered a V2 slipper with b4 top shaft along with a motor plate, cover and B5M chassis brace..

making a few changes to the GT-E after it sucked a motor wire into the spur gear..
Moving to the 48p spur and getting a cover on it.

Wish I could help but I have never done a GTE conversion. Yes the B4 top shaft, not sure on the spur, but I would imagine 87t 48p with the dual slipper pad slots for B/T4.

Well the answer is yes it's fits jut fine.
You need to use the GT top shaft spacers.

combined that with a B4.2 motor plate and cover.
I had to drill and tap 1 hole to bolt it up. the pic is just a mock up.. I need to get 1" 4-40 screws and make 3 spacers to finish it.

Fits in the GT chassis ok.

The other motor place worked great but the local track requires a pinion cover so I went with this.
I have another GT chassis coming I'll re-use the other plate in.

I got it all set up this weekend with a 87t spur and 19t pinion..
It runs great with the brushed stock motor.
