Hey V12,
That is looking great! There is something about the look of white nylon parts against graphite that is unbeatable
Cheers

Really nice project, an another "real race car replica" but this time 1:12 car
. Will You do body with Phil Davis paint shema etc. too?
I like how You took the pictures: Distance from camera to car is always the same etc. Really nice work.

Thanks guys, really appreciate your comments.
Regarding replica, yes a body with Phil Davies paint scheme would be great. Unfortunately I´m a bad painter.
Also can´t find the picture of the Euros body atm.
But it was similar to the Cliff Lett body http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=17973 with different colours .
More pictures later this day.

Re: RC12LS 1995 Euro Champs Special Phil Davies
Final update for the moment.
Screws at the chassis brace were changed for aluminium. Front end got additional aluminium washers for correct ride height. RC12L wheels were moved from the Delta Phaser to this car. So the Phaser needs new shoes now, RC12E version.
Not sure if or when the build will be finished. As mentioned before, white rear body posts #8185 will be needed, white servo mounts also.

Jirka
Thanks, seems exactly the picture from my missing magazine. RRC I think maybe july 1995?
Maybe I have a Protoform Nissan left, but I think the main problem will be finding all those stickers.
Niki
Nice servo mounts!

Yep, RRC 1995 July. Just don't ask what is written below of that black ae sticker on red. Above that sticker seems to be "Phil Davis". Finding sticker is always hard, but I hope You will get them all. Painting should be easy just do the masking carefully.

Looks like the Indy car that underlines a typical Team Associated sticker.Jirka wrote:Just don't ask what is written below of that black ae sticker on red. Above that sticker seems to be "Phil Davis".

that spring should be black..
sakke ahoniemi ahaaaaa that brings back memories all the finish top driver like Petri Kyrölainen, the similä brothers and an very young, vesa yli
his dad was driving him to boden from uleåborg to practise and race.
the dad of the similä brothers had suitcases that look like parts boxes with spare parts and tires , it was awsome anything that you needed it wwas there.

Re: RC12LS 1995 Euro Champs Special Phil Davies
Thanks.
Hmm, from what I saw Phil Davies used a silver spring, even when it may be a different one. Or do you have pictures showing Davis´s car other than RRC, maybe at Swedish or Finish magazine?
Maybe the car hiding below that body was not his race car but a promotion car, this had been done by other drivers a lot of times before. Or the spring has been changed at some point.
Similä brothers used this chassis also at the Euros.
Ahonemi brothers using AE car is somewhat strange to me, whenever I saw them they did use Corally cars. But may have been later.
