Kinwald/Worlds Car replica

I have been looking at my Hot Bodies Stealth Fighter for ages now wondering what do with the shell.. Seeing as it's so close to a RCPS mirage I guessed it would make a nice Kinwald replica. I can hear the crack of purist pipes falling on the floor right now, but you know me, I like to do things a little different just to shake things up!!
Enjoy!

I like it! Nice job.
The only purist thing I would frown on is the fact that you used/wasted the TURBO MIRAGE decals on a body that's not even a Mirage.

Fair comment.. i do have a few spare decals luckily

I hated to see them all in my drawer with no chance of ever having a Turbo Mirage to stick them on!

Just when you think that is when you will come across a Turbo Mirage.

Been there, done that.

That looks great! I have always loved that paint theme. I thought about putting that theme on one of my trucks, even though it would be completely incorrect from a collectors stand-point. Nice job!

Hehe, I was running a experimental Trans Am class today at the warm-up race for the Novak TC race this weekend at Trackside, and after Barry Baker qualified someone else's car in the first heat of T/A, and I made the A-main, I got up on the driver's stand next to another "fill-in" driver.
The
worst thing I have ever heard while racing R/C cars is:
"Doug Carter, in 4th place and moving through the field, with past World Champion Brian Kinwald right on his back bumper."
Let's just say that I didn't hold him off very long.

I think my hands are still shaking.
I did run my fast lap in the race only .1 slower than the previously mentioned past World Champion. wOOt!

Yeah, my buddies were standing by the driver's stand in the main yelling, "Doug, don't look behind you..."
It didn't work.

I'm sorry for you, this item is misdiscribed: it's not a B4
If you want I can trade it with you for a nice used B4.
Seriously: really nice snipe.

Yup! The guy assures me there is no wear on it too. I guess we'll see when it arrives.
I have ordered the full Fibrelyte kit for it too to make a 100% carbon car - Can't wait

That's one of the best steal I've ever seen here, 77£ for a mint and complete carbon fibre tub, a very nice Mirage body and all the hardware, that's amazing Tom! I would also add that after mine, it's the second time only I see a Fibre-Lyte chassis with this weave pattern. Mine is a COMCOM and I wonder what are the differences with a Fibre Lyte, so PLEASE when you get it torn apart, post pics of the chassis alone
