XX-CR: Spur and pinion size recommendations

Hello all. New guy here getting back into the hobby.

I will keep the back story short: The XX-CR I built out of the box when it was released in the late 90s. Still a runner; busted a few parts during a recent run and caught the bug when seeking out replacement parts. I will post more as I embark on a restore/upgrade with some graphite and Kinwald parts.

Back to the question: What would be the proper spur and pinion combinations for the following (old school, brushed) motors?

Trinity Midnight 2 (stock) 27T
Trinity Gold Dust 13T triple
Trinity D5 12T single

Thanks in advance.

Kinwald xx-cr donor has been stripped down and cleaned up. Still stock piling parts and preparing for the tear down of the XX-CR and eventual rebuild.

Thinking of ditching the Hydra Drive for the Kinwald double slipper. Opinions?

That would depend on what you are doing with it and track conditions etc. I think most of us use the dual slipper for our runners, I have never run a hydra but they do serve their purpose but I think are abit more maintenance.
I use a 90T kevlar spur with my runner 4600kv brushless , cant remember pinion size.
