Hello,
New to RC10Talk and just slightly overwhelmed with the amount of information available.
I am slowly unboxing my old collection and wanted to
create a thread where I could post photos of parts I cant identify. I raced locally for a couple years after I got my RC10 and upgraded bits here and there and I know I don't have all of the manuals.
So it wont be a build thread but a "What is this part circled on this picture"
Here is the steering system I have on my gold tub. I don't remember the manufacturer
So should I just start this as a build thread or is there a more appropriate place to post.
Thanks. And once I know where to start my thread I will delete this post

Looks like RPS/Team Losi. Part nro 7008 if there are bushings and 7009 is with ball bearings

if you are talking all rc10 parts, you can have the mods move this thread to the rc10 forum, otherwise, this one is fine. I'd change the title to something like 'unboxing old collection-help identify'. there are a few threads, and a huge one that is a 'what is it?' thread, but guys would certainly like you documenting digging through your old collection and showing it off, even just to identify stuff.
Jirka is correct on the steering parts, RPS; ranch pit stop/team losi.
it also looks like you have that on a RC10DS conversion car.

Thanks for the suggestions about renaming and or moving this thread. Since it is going to concern different cars, radio and the other collected stuff from my RC past I think this is the place.
I have only pulled out two of the cars. The RC10 DS and the RC10 Graphite. I posted photo of these two in the Gallery, but think this will be a better place for them.
The others are still to buried to get too
I hope to update this more often than not.

Welcome to the board and This will work like jswcab stated. If you get some real off the wall stuff there is "The Official "What is it?" Thread" that can be found
here. Thats the last page of it anyway. Keep digging and pry like you we like pix

Yes exactly. I´m not perfectly sure but I think this steering system was one of the very early Losi products. I remember the original RC10 steering broke more than once so I also bought this one. It was one of the best option parts for the RC10 and very nice looking as well ... and expensive.
It is one of the very few RC10 parts I still have left, maybe also the card header.
Some day I will have a RC10 again (not the re-release) and the Losi steering will find a new place then.

I have decided that this site is bad for my productivity.
As I read more threads and go back in time I want to pull out all of my stuff NOW!!!
I want to find out if I have any rare or unusual parts. I find my mind wandering during the day ...do I have one of those (insert random part) in one of my different parts buckets.
And I know that I have never sold any of my stuff. So I might actually have it.
Hope to dig out more stuff tomorrow or saturday

Buds Racing Bi-Level Adjustable wing. Still in original packaging. I bought this just as the outdoor season was ending. Switched the car to a DS and never raced offroad again
