How to decrease rear track on a Dual Sport?

I need to decrease the rear track on my Dual Sport my aprox 6mm. I am running 31mm HPI Vintage 8 spoke wheels and I really dont want to go down to the 26mm wheel because I don't want to loose the "deep dish" look.

Initially I planned on moving the rear control arms inward but that won't work because the bulkhead is in the way.

Are ther any ood alternatives to HPI if I want a muscle car wheel?

Not the easiest parts to find but you could use the RPM worlds rear arm mounts (require trimming the chassis) to narrow it up. Not sure what you would run for dogbones. Another alternative is to have someone 3d print you some shorter arms. This is becoming pretty common

So the RPM Worlds arms are shorter thant the Dual Sport arms?

Getting some rear arms 3D printed would woud totally work. I just have no idea how to get a set printed w/o having them designed in CAD first.

Not the RPM arms, the RPM inner mounts. They pivot closer to centerline. They are made for longer arms.... But in your case would narrow up the rear. Look for RPM worlds conversion pics.

If you have the ability to make the parts, then I would shorten the arms.... It's easier than cutting the chassis for RPM mounts

Could try B3/T3 rear hub carriers too. They move the hinge pin further towards the outside face of the hub than the DS hubs. That should shorten the rear track a little bit...like 2-3mm per side.

Again you would need to find new dogbones/universals.

2-3mm? Really? That would be perfect! Using the B3 hubs sounds like the easiest route to take. Hopefully I will be able to use my exisiting dogbones. This is basicly going to be a touring suspension so I dont need the full range of articulation.

No those are RC10 hubs. You want part number ASC7366.

Oddly the Team Associated site did not recognize the part number.

Please clarify. Is the B3 and T3 versions of the RC10?

Let us know how the stock dogbones fit. I still think you're going to need replacements.

Aside from trial-and-error, is ther a good way to find dogbones that will fit properly?

End to end: 46.5mm
Center of pin to center of pin: 40mm

Don't think anyone's ever tried the B3 carriers before so you're going to run point as guinea pig. Someone on the forums may help you find measurements for other dogbones but it's still going to require some trial and error.
