Chicago Vintage Race (NW Burbs)

My local raceway is including a "vintage" class at one of their upcoming events.

HobbyTown USA Lake in the Hills presents the 2nd annual Spring Smack Down April 18th at TimeWarp R/C Raceway.

Awards for the top 3 in the A main plus TQ award
Classes:
Sportsman
2wd Stock Buggy
2wd Mod Buggy
4wd Mod Buggy
13.5 4wd Buggy
2wd Stock SCT
4X4 Mod SCT
Vintage (exhibition)

Sportsman may run any 2wd 1/10th scale electric off-road chassis. No 4X4 SCT in Sportsman.
Drivers entered in Sportsman may not run any other class except vintage.
All stock classes must run ZERO timing mode (blinky) on timing advance ESC’s. Trinity D3.5 17.5 is legal.
All classes limited to 2 cell hard case LiPo’s. Batteries must be charged in a LiPo sack!
For vintage we would like to see pre B2/XX cars or trucks. This class will be 17.5 brushless or 27 turn stock brushed motor. All vintage qualifiers will be heads up.
Entry:
$25 first class
$15 2nd class & Sportsman
$10 3rd class

Practice 9:00am to 11:30am racing starts at noon.

What's the surface here and general ball park tire/compound, assuming one were to build a JRXT for vintage? Man I suck, just noticed this is one year old. :lol:
