I was one of the people on the facebook post. I sent him the paypal payment this morning. He said he was shipping it out today.

Yeah I went searching ebay after you said that. I didn't think he had it up yet. Said he was going to if it didn't sell. But I talked to him late last night and confirmed the sale and sent him the paypal money. I'm sure he will pull through

It's a later Championship Edition circa 1992-ish, not 1985 like the eBay description says. The Stealth transmission, black shock caps and green springs, and Team Car front shock tower are indicators. The very last batches apparently came with black arms and possibly Viper bodies that this one doesn't have.
The box art never changed IIRC, just had stickers indicating what updates were inside.

Thank you for this! I will be ordering a body very soon. Looking forward to owning this car. Now its time to sell some of my beloved RC10L's to pay myself back for these purchases lol.

That 'correct' Protech II body doesn't look too bad and it's still unpainted. Why buy another one already?

I would like to have a period correct box art body painted up for it. Can anyone help me make sure I pick the right one. Please bare with me, This is my first RC10 buggy. I appreciate all your help! An aprox year it was made also?
