The early prototype is absolutely fabulous! was it a 1 piece chassis? Can't see if there is a nose plate...

the rc hobby needs a museum/hall of fame, and these should be in it...there is a major program going on in Los Angeles to build a Slot Car Museum focused on pro racing from the late 60's early 70's.....

WOW - that is serously impressive..........tooo much money!
If I had it though - I would do the same - cant beleive all those MIN moki and Tamiya slot kits..........needs some serious insurance!

Too bad the article got 1 detail wrong though, the 85 worlds was held at the Ranch. But it was in Del Mar not Pomona. The Ranch later moved to Pomona
