Hey everyone,
While my activity in the hobby has been hit or miss over the years, I've always had a fondness of old Losi stuff.
When I was young, I couldn't afford a hobby-grade RC car on my own. Luckily, I had a good friend in the same position. We pooled what money we had and purchased a standard XXT from the local hobby shop. Once we got done building it we'd take turns keeping at our houses. As time went on, I lost touch with that old friend and it was at his house last.
Later in life I had other various cars and trucks; all Losi of course. To be honest, I couldn't tell you to this day whether the Losis were or are any better than the competition but that's not I'm loyal to the brand. Don't get me wrong, every single one I've ever had has held up great but I buy them because they remind me of the summers with that XXT.
Recently I decided it's time to get back into the hobby. I'm currently racing a 22SCT 1.0 with a 22SCT 2.0 and 22T 2.0 waiting to be built. At the same time, like many of you I assume, I'm trying to find nice examples of my old Losis. So far, I have a low-time XXXT MF1 which is in phenomenal, running condition as well as an XX4 that is in need of some help.
While searching for parts, I stumbled across this forum and decided to have a look around. I knew in about 10 minutes I had to sign up.
I look forward to getting to know the forum and seeing all your projects!
