Not entirely ready yet, but I felt like sharing some pics of this project already.
I've been working on this inbetween other projects and am using parts I think I won't need for anything else anymore.
The goal is to have something cool for classic races, but since I only seem to be able to make it to them every once in 2 years on average... I want this to stand-out of the pack a bit on the shelf too with some un-polished raw old-skool elements.

What do you think sofar?

I like it! I'm interested to see what's under the sheets. 8)

Almost nothing yet really: A bluehawk graphite chassis, front bulkhead and flipped around gearbox.

How did I miss this? So Blue Hawk is European Eagle? 1992 rear bulkhead I see. So the rear arms are Traxxas? I am still on the fence with the rear arms on a mid project. Curious of your rear suspension arrangement. Nice project.

Here're the promised pictures. Sorry for the delay.

Those apache wheels have lots of offset. So I had to shorten the arms heavily.

I had to bring the tower to the front as far as it could go, and even then, still had to make some spacers to get the shocks in front of the arms.

Mini inferno dogbones, touring car drive cups (4) and cut original axles from the apache transfer the power from the gearcase to the wheels.
