Thanks LoboNYC, the rear arm mounts are set for the shorter wheel base yes. The body shell came with the car and the camero shell but ive not painted it yet, would love a 1973ish porsche 911 body but not come across one yet with the right wheel base.

Well, that's the first time I've seen body posts mounted through the headlights... 8)

Thanks for the pics...I was curious to see if the porsche body fit okay on the DS in terms of wheelbase.

I have a few porsche bodies but have yet to paint and mount one on a DS. I may have to rethink using the Porsche if the body posts run through the headlights; maybe save the body for a NTC3.

I no not a good look body posts coming through lights, thats how it came when i bought it second hand. Myself i would have put longer screws through the bumper mounting holes and put the body post on top of the nylon nuts. The post would have sat nicely in the porsche bonnet, i may still do this, but its not the nicest body shell. Also there are 2 sets of holes to mount the front body posts.

No worries veeza, I figured it was the previous owner who did that, not you...but it almost looks...painful. Like having chopsticks poking into your eyeballs!
