Me, circa '90.

I tried to convince my dad to buy a Delorean for 10k at an auction around the same time and age.

My parents had a DeLorean in the mid-1980's,
I was in 6th grade and my mom would sometimes drop me off at school in the car.

Bottom line is, the car was a total piece of crap, it always had something wrong with it.
And it was very slow... it was the auto-trans (3 spd auto), it couldn't even 'chirp' the tires...

Who cares about chirping the tires when it can take you into the future or the past?

Haha! It would have had serious trouble even getting to 88mph... to achieve the time-warp!

That's why if you could get one up to 88mph you'd see some serious s**t!
