SPEEDWORKS Tony Neisinger

I was trying to find some info on this motor...reading online, I saw an article that said this was wound as a 14/4. Assuming that's correct, did this particular motor - same label, etc, come in any other winds?
I put this in my JRX2, and it is RIDICULOUS fast. A LOT more than I was expecting...

14 quad, as you said. It's got a good powerband but is really for long tracks where you can open it up. My brother had one, still in a box somewhere.

I always thought it was the opposite. It's a high-torque motor that was great for a smaller pinion on tight twisty tracks.

Normally the lower the wind the more more torque a motor makes compared to the same turn motor with a higher wind. For example a 14 x 1 would produce more torque whereas a 14 x 2 would produce more RPM, and so on. As the number of winds increase the diameter of the copper wire decreases.
