are you running the hex b4 floating spindles on the rc10 hub carriers up front for the hex wheels?

No, but I would like to know more about them? These are something I made from an HPI nitro wheel adaptor and a brass sleeve I machined the two so they press fit together. I would love to find something better though.

need all these parts (or equivalent) from this web link:
https://www.teamassociated.com/news/latest_products/616-B4.1_12mm_Hex_Drive
obviously use your wheels, but you need the 9880, 7496, 7919(or 7922) drill out the hinge pin to 1/8". actually, there are a few caster blocks. the b4 parts are for a 25 degree kickup, and rc10 is 30 degrees, so whatever they say on the degrees, add 5 degrees and that's what it will be on your car.

Finally came across the ad your design reminded me of. It's similar to another early mid conversion from RC Innovators back in 1989-90.
I think there was one more conversion I remember seeing in the RCCA scans too. Same design...with the kick-up attached to a flat plate....but it also had two thin strips of carbon fiber that connected at the back of the nose tubes and went around the outside edges of the chassis. Top deck looked totally ineffective though.

Some how I never saw this post Phin. Wow that car in the add is shockingly similar. The future versions of this chassis will be for Lipo cells and will have braces from the front of the nose that connect to the chassis for added front end stability.
