Hello everyone. My name is Tim. My first real RC was an RC10 that I still have to this day. It's been upgraded with Thorp tranny gears, Andys wide A-arms, Tenacraft in line front axles, Composite Craft graphite chassis, Team Pit Stop lightening kit, Parma HD tie rod kit, B&R Magnum stocker(currently in black tub RC10), Victor Engineering ESC, Houge Enterprises ball bearing steering, Track master long diff shaft, and Proline wide front bumper. All parts have been dyed orange with RIT dye way back when.
My most recent project is built from 90% NOS parts. With the exception of the tub, steering bell crank, and stealth trans it's all new. Including the rare Associated Sprint car body PN: 6163. I still need to scrounge for some period correct tores for it though. Also has MIP CVDs and optional sway bars. I have yet to assemble the rear shocks, so for the time being it has some Kyosho shocks for now.
Tim

Welcome aboard dude, you have a very nice TQ10 chassis there, you have to save that one

I thought the TQ10 chassis was the short lived Horizon Hobby knock off? Both of the cars are all Associated minus all the upgrades on the 6 gear runner. The Worlds car now has optional swaybars on it just because I had them.
Thanks for the props guys. I have almost enough parts to make one out of all white parts. Just need to find a white 6 gear gearbox, gold tub, gold noseplate, white rear bulkhead, and white rear arms. Too bad I can't dye all the extra black arms I have in white.

Figure that out you'll be a millionaire!

Just share with the rest of us first before you contact the patent office.

Horizon Hobbies did release the TQ10 but all kits came with parts made by Associated... Your graphite chassis REALLY deserves something else

Really, that should be easy to do... you just need a decent 6010 type car (or early white parts) and TQ wheels/tires.

It's all white parts. Just the white parts happen to be dyed orange. Now that I look at it more I do believe it is a TQ10. I didn't buy it new, so I always assumed it was an RC10 with the Composite Craft chassis.

It's definitely a TQ10 chassis mate, now if you still don't beleive it, you can send it my way for proper inspection

That won't happen anytime soon. I do believe you though. I did some research last night just to make sure. I was wrong and you were right. So no luck on me sending it to you for a "proper inspection".

Loveland is about 220 miles south southwest of you. Near Cincinnati.

I'm being tracked? I should have some pics next week hopefully. I've got a few non period specific part, but decided to do a resto mod, basically old school tech meets new school flare (annoed hardware, hex heads, etc.) but it's just the rear suspension bolted to the chassis at the moment, waiting on some front end parts I won on ebay. Don't see a reason to rebuild the front end twice. Also, my camera is dead at the moment and I haven't had time to get new ones. I'll get pics up soon.
