New Guy in the Denver area

Hey guys just got back into the hobby after about a 20 year absence. My first build back in the early 90s was a Tamiya Blackfoot. I actually called my dad over the weekend and he confirmed it is still in the closet of my bedroom at their house. Going to have him ship it out to me. Recently picked up a RC10 worlds car that I just finished building. This caused me to go all in! I always wanted a gold tub RC10 when I was a kid, my neighbor had one and I was so jealous. Well I finally got one! Found an RTR that has been restored with full electronics on ebay for just a hair over $200 shipped. I will post some pictures when it arrives. I figured since I was going all in on returning to RC Cars I ordered a B5M factory lite over the weekend. I think I might try my hand at racing this time. It appears there is a track about 25-30 minutes from me. When I was a kid we built our own track in a clearing in the woods and always raced each other back there. Figured I might try and make it official this time.
