Hey guys, I know from lurking here that this is a close community, and I would love to join and be a part of it! I wanted to use my first post here to say hello to everyone and say that I hope I can be an active contributing member! I love Team Associated and fell in love with the older RC10's when I was younger...I didn't ever have one but I wanted one! My first "real" RC was a Team Associated RC18T.....I also have had a Traxxas Mini E-Revo, Losi Micro Desert Truck, Traxxas Rustler, Team Associated TC3 and lastly a Losi XX-CR. I got the XX-CR in a trade and am now going to tear it down, clean/lube, and rebuild it. This car is actually the main reason I joined this forum. I would love to share my experience rebuilding it and getting parts for it, but I may also need some help and advice in the process. I love that there is a community for vintage/older RC's! I originally wanted to rebuild an old RC10, but when I came accross this Losi XX-CR I knew it was the one to start with!

Thanks for having me!

Welcome. Nice to have another member from Ottawa:)

Out of curiosity, do you have any ideas why the shocks are not anodized? Just struck me as odd.

Rear shocks are from a truck kit? The fronts are a good question. I should know....but not sure at all.

Great forum here, enjoy.

Hey guys thanks for the welcome!

8rad - Nice I didn't even think there would be local people on here! Also, I know nothing about the car or who had it originally, so I don't know about the shocks...sorry man.

integra22t - Sweet! I would love to race in the future, I should check the Kingston track out!

Diamond Dave - Do you mean the truck version of the XX? I have a ton of extra parts for this and some of them are similar but different...could it be that I have a buggy and a truck XX?

The rear shocks in the pic look exactly the same as the ones on my JR-T. I bought it new and it is the bone stock suspension.

I am sure Losi used many of the same parts for other vehicles, Looks good.

Great to have another Canadian here.

Those look like earlier stock JRX2/T shocks on your car. No reason they would not bolt right on to a XX.
