Hey guys! Just wanted to share a few pics. I got this XX from Kijiji, it looks like the previous owner was a racer. It came with a ton of spares, almost enough for another build 
....including a Hydradrive and a NIP A-8040 body (for my next build). Currently I have a double slipper setup because I'm missing a couple pieces for the Hydradrive. The only things I've done to the car so far is tear it down and clean it, lube it, replaced worn out e-clips, and put it back together. I installed my modern electronics just to see how this thing handles...I made sure to adjust the ESC to be easy on the transmission, and WOW I was completely blown away! Now I know why these vintage cars have such a dedicated following. It handles like a champ and took everything I threw at it. Here are some pics of how it sits right now.
EDIT: oh geez, after all that I noticed I missed an e-clip on the first picture lol.
