JRX-T built for vintage racing

I bought this JRX-T from another forum member years ago - it may have been from Bearickster(?), I'm not entirely sure.

Anyhow, I never found the time to do anything with it, so I am making plans to sell it on to another member.

This model has a Losi chassis with Composite Craft upper deck, and a blue aluminum front bulkhead.
It has RPM upgrades to include:
- front and rear suspension arms
- rear hinge pin brace (0 degree)
- rear hub carriers
- rear body mounts

I believe this body came from a different model (perhaps from a different '10Talk member?),
but I think the orange/white body with vintage decals is super cool! 8)

I have a few simple plans like winning the world's with it, it will be well looked after.

Who makes those turnbuckles? And is the blue front bulkhead a Trinity GTX part? I have a matching aluminum gtx shock tower that would go real nice. I'd love to no where the body came from as well as I am more into the history these days of prior ownership.

I am pretty sure I bought this rolling chassis without a body, I bought in along with a JRX-2 (buggy) rolling chassis with similar RPM components - but I don't think either one came with a body.
- Bearickster, do you recognize this chassis?
- Anyone have any ideas on the turnbuckles and front bulkhead?

The body was either from another member here on '10Talk, or from eBay... It's been so long, I don't recall.
- Does anyone recognize this body???

Got the truck. Would still love to know where the aluminum front bulkhead and turnbuckles are from. I have a trinity blue aluminup front lxt shock tower that would go great. Maybe some orange jrxt wheels to complement the body. Hmmmmm, I need to think about this one.

It has all sorts of RPM goodness and the composite craft top plate tell me an aftermarket showcase is in order.

I have more just need to dig it out. Maybe a Litesink motor plate instead. I've been looking for a reason to open that package.

Apologies for the grave dig!

Does anyone know if the composite craft upper deck pictured is the one still available from Factory Works: https://factoryworks.com/shop/ols/products/com10187 and can anyone confirm whether it fits the stock pro/truck chassis?

It would appear I just need to make some 1" standoffs and drill some holes in the stock Losi chassis?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

It fits but the original front tower isn't cut down enough to the bulkhead for the brace to sit flat up front. this could be remedied by using taller standoffs and some spacers at the bulkhead or trimming the front tower or using a different one.

Brilliant! Thanks very much for the detailed response.

I am planning to use this on an LXT where the tower sits flush with the bulkhead, so this should bolt right on (after I massively enlarge the standoff holes to account for my poor measuring and drilling).

I have always hated the look of the plastic front brace on the LXT/SE, so my original plan was to use a Pro chassis and drill some extra holes to match up with the long wheel base option of the LXT and use a 2mm carbon plate to mount under the bulkhead/tranny so I can retain the motor mount hole.

I am not sure what is better. Longer and flexy wheel base with no deck, or short wheelbase and deck.
