Ditto- Just when I finally feel like my B5M is coming together. Guess I shouldn't be surprised.....
This happened to me when the 44.2 was released. I got a screaming deal on the 44.1 NIP for less than Cost (for a hobbyshop) and the 44.2 was released about 6wks later. SMH.

I do Too, that think looks so cool, even as a shelf piece.

Just take my money!!!
I have barely broken in my B5M and now they come out with this new car? Well, this might be just the thing I need to get back into working on RC
Not sure which one I would get though. The B6D would likely be more my style in terms of where I would be driving but on the other hand, I like the 'newness' of the lay down transmission design. Decisions, decisions...

Well the B6 has reduced polar moment. Funny, I was just thinking the other day about the high polar moment problems that seem to be crippling the performance of some of the other popular buggies.

Has anyone here pulled the trigger on one of these yet? Better question - if you buy one can it be easily converted into the other? In other words, if I got a B6, can it be made into a B6D easily with just the tranny swap?

I believe the front ares are different between the 6 and 6D, one has flat, the other gull wing. Not sure about other differences beyond that and the transmission/motor plate/rear brace

If you plan on running on clay the B6D would be the way to go. To convert to a B6 you would need to swap out the transmission case, idler gear, gear diff(if desired), front arms and shock tower.
I plan on trying to fit a B6 laydown transmission in my B5M FL along with the front carriers.

Sounds like this is the most cost effective way to go. Since one of the AE employees is from my local area, he was visiting on vacation a couple weeks prior to release, so I got a chance to look at it in person. Pretty impressive, but for my Indoor Turf/Carpet- I'll stick to my YZ-2.
