When I entered crawler in the search it returned 52 pages of posts mentioning crawler.
Maybe we could have a section for scalers, foff, desert bugs, rockracers and crawlers?

RC10Talk was born from just such a site, called Clodtalk.com, where crawlers and trucks of all types are discussed. Come on over, have a look. 8)

Clodbusters and RC10's have about as much in common as peanut butter and pickles

In that same logic, I like planes too, and woodworking, and machining, and and and.......you get the idea. The nice thing about a narrow scope dedicated site is that you dont have to sift through pages of stuff you have no interest in, and instead since the focus starts out narrow, you can break it down even narrower without the size of the site getting out of control. And in all fairness, the sites name is RC10talk......not everythingRCtalk. Though there are sub platforms for other brands, they fall into the same classification of vehicle, and that seems just fine. Crawlers are their own thing, and honestly when I go to a site about racing stadium buggies and trucks, scale trailers with scale tents just dont seem to fit :)

10talk spawned from clodtalk. if bill at clodtalk had just been ignorant and elitist with an attitude towards vintage buggies this whole forum would exist.

thats a fact. logically one would take that fact and be able to see how they are related.

We have talked a few times about maybe creating a New School forum over the last few years. I've been hesitant on it as there are more than enough forums out there that cater to new stuff.

That being said, we've never really had a problem with our members posting their newer stuff on here, as long as they don't make a habit of it. That's why you find that many pages on here when you search for say...... "crawler".

Maybe it's something we could look at again. But, it would only be 1 forum and not be broken down into groups. The B6, TC7, anything Axial, etc. would all go in there.

Thank you for considering.
I admit I forgot about clodtalk, and server size is a valid concern. So I understand if it doesn't go through.
After all there's always the chit chat section to discuss woodworking

Thanks. I found them and posted a question in the newbie section. Got no response whatsoever. Search doesn't work too well either.
I guess I just have to find my way around and be patient.

clodtalk definitely has much less traffic compared to this place so you might see a little bit of time before a response.
