what kind of tires are you talking about?
any 2.2 will work on it but you'll need to get different rims for the newer tires. The newer tires are too soft and will pull thru those 3 pc wheels.
If you are talking about replacing with older more time line specific tires ebay is your best bet but not thinking you were after those if you were going Castle in it.

Not hard at all. You have 1/4" axles on that truck but most are 3/16" axles anymore. If you get 3/16" axle wheels you can 'drill' them out with 1/4" bit. I do this by hand to fit them to the axle or set up a drill press and a stop on it so they only drill into the axle hole an 1/8 of an inch so the wheel fits over the axle. All rc10t, t2, gt, gt2 wheels have the same offset but again most of these are going to be 3/16 axles. Ebay has a butt load of wheels all over the place for these along with online hobby shops.
Here are a few dish rears just off the first page of ebay searching for associated wheels
1/4" rears white
rear wheels black
gt2 rears in yellow
and these are just associated. Depends on how hard you want to look for wheels and the style. RPM makes some nice wheels for the rc10t trucks also like the
revolver
bully
if you want a little different look than just a dish wheel.

Ok so got some TRC foams for rc10t but the axels seem barely long enough to get a bite with the nut.....can I upgrade to the t4 mip cvd's and have a longer stouter axle shaft? Should I need new hubs as well?

If you already have CVDs then just put on T4 axles. They are about a 1/4" longer. If not then you will have to find a whole kit. I don't know if a T4 CVD kit will work on a T1. Asked that question a while back on another forum on got crickets for a response. I do know that GT, T2, and T3 CVDs will fit fine. On my T1 I'm using an original MIP kit for it with the T4 axles. You will need to shim the longer axle some more as the pin is further out from the hub. But there is nothing difficult about it. And the hubs you have will work fine unless they are just worn out.

T4 bones are longer and won't work with the usual 10T rear hubs.. Try a low profile nut on the axle first

That thing looks too pretty to drive. Can you post some more photos, with the body off?

A 10T with pro-line rims and foam tires is a hard look to beat.
