My first RC car

I dug this out the other day after deciding to finally install the correct shock bushings......
This car was my very first "real" RC car. It was sitting wrapped up under the Cristmas tree around 92/93. I remember unwrapping a pair of fluro pink wrapped batteries, a Futaba MC-210CB ESC, Trinity Slot Machine Motor and a Futaba Magnum Jr. Radio along with the Team Car.
I used to thrash this car battery after battery every day after school. It ended up with a worlds chassis at one stage and also ended up being dyed blue at one stage. Around high school I sold it to a buddy who was also into RC.
Probably about a year or so later I asked my buddy about it and ended up buying it back for $50. Suprisingly it was exactly as I sold it to him, considering he was a bit of a hack. It even still had the original body that I painted from the car.
Over the years I've restored it back to original as when it was new. Most parts are NOS or very nice originals, absolutely no re-re parts. The car isn't perfect and there are still a few things wrong like the front tires and ball cups, but it's all trivial stuff. I had the original box for it but my dad threw it away at some point which I wasn't happy about.
I hope to one day aquire the electronics that I had although that priority is low.
Anyways, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I could have at least dusted it off.....
