Hey all, got my first RC10 in 84 or 85. Still got it. Just recently pulled it out of storage and have been tweakin it a bit. New battery and it runs pretty good. Still got the resister throttle and stock tires. Went to an estate sale this past weekend and found a big box full of RC stuff and started digging! Found an RC10 box but there was a car in it I didnt recognize as it was an on road car. Thats when I looked under the table and found three boxes for RC10Ls. First one had misc small parts in it. Thats when I realized what the onroad car was. It was the assembled but never run RC10L. Looked in the other two 10L boxes and at first I thought I just was seeing misc parts. There was a new R&B Bullet motor in each box though. Also found a couple unopened bodies, a few batteries and a charger. Lots of small stuff too. I caughed up $30 bucks for the whole mess! When I got home I realized those two 10L boxes were complete, never assembled cars! with instruction manuals, stickers, catalogs, etc! So I got three new 10Ls, 2 new motors, two bodies, one new 6 cell 3000 ma battery that said charge before 2005.and it seems to be fine! Charged right up on the included Radio Shack Charger! Stuck one of those new motors in my old goldpan tonight and boy what an improvement. The.old original motor was sucking the batteries dry very quickly. Not sure what I'm going to do with the cars but I feel like I did ok!
