Associated liked putting big $$$ signs on the box end also but the street price was mush easier on the wallet.

Well as I have no intention of selling my only RC10, I suppose $70 posted NIB was not a bad price then
that was in September 06 as well.

All I need now is to unearth a VHS player to watch the tuning video, yes it was in the box along with parts list exploded diagram instructions and adverts, if weather stays bad I will start scanning, been busy today with a small project

The tuning vid is vintage nice, it's from the 1st version GT. Has Curtis H and Cliff doing the setup and tuning, I'm pretty sure Gene filmed/edited.
Another slice of AE history.

Been looking at the history of the part No 8075 is the first Nitro, 8077 and 8088 both same kit with bdy included.
Mine is not mentioned. It is on the box as RC10 Nitro DS RACER KIT
Non Pull Start engine
Stealth Transmission
Ball Bearings
High Performance exhaust system
Quick-fill tank with filter
Hard anodized oil filled shocks
Adjustable front and rear anti roll suspension.
Is it an upgrade or a downgrade I wonder?
NO shell or radio or engine included

Mine is an 8076, bought when first released. It's sort of the "team" version; hard ano'd shocks, bearings, u-joint axles. I raced it for one day at the local parking lot course. Foam tires on a prepped course, it was not bad. No match for the nitro RS4 and the like though. I think there may have been two or three DS' running that day so we were put in the same class as the 4wd's...
It's been parked ever since. I still have nib foams, M2 and M3 tires, BMW body set with decals, and a Dahms 911 GT3 body unpainted... I think it's had a whole quart of 10% fuel run through it.

I think it's got rubber radials I will look when I have finished putting a nitro buggy back together,if it stops snowing I may even get to test it!
