First time ever attempting this "sell shirts via some fulfillment vendor" thing.. Thought I'd start with something basic and cool that appeals to me and my interests..

What do you guys think? I know some will ask where "1985" came from, since from my research the rc10 came out in 1984.. it just seemed like a good year to reference nostalgically.

Anyways.. curious to hear any feedback. It's ok to tell me it sucks.. or maybe you think it's rad and I should do others.. totally open to hearing opinions!

Teechip handles the actual printing but I believe it's screen printed. Last one I ordered from another designer was and quality was good.

if you don't mind can tell us your experience with the vendor. I know scr8p was revising the rc10talk.com shirts and maybe this might help with the process.

Do they offer in different colors and such when you make an order like this or is it something like all red with the same color prints that you have yours done in? How is there pricing? Mostly locally they want $50 just to think about the first design .

Like with your shirt, I'm not a big color red fan or a color that stains easily at all so mostly with me its black for shirt colors. Then I'd go with some gold and white lettering with maybe a blue buggy to represent the major colors of the early on buggys. but of course thats just my opinion if I would have gone out and done it. I like your color choices for the "pop" effect and the white stands out nicely with the darker color for the car but if I wear it once its gonna be a work shirt next time I wear it since there will be a stain somewhere on the gut area .

HAha. Appreciate the feedback. It's my first design using TeeChip. A friend of mine uses it all the time and has sold hundreds of shirts through them.

You select the colors for your print, and up to 8 garment colors.. I originally had it as a one color design so it'd work well on black, etc.. but it didn't have the desired pop I wanted.. but for RC10Talk, it seems like it'd be a good source for shirts.. it doesn't cost the seller anything to setup.. just create the design (or use their builder) and upload. Seller sets the pricing and they get whatever's left over after production and fees.. Like anything, the more intricate the design (# of colors), the more it costs to produce.

I'm interested to see how it does.. we'll see. If people seem to like this, I may do others or variations.. I run a sign shop and offer vinyl heat pressed shirts.. will eventually offer screen printing myself.. so will be practicing my shirt design skills in the meantime.

Im with Todd, I really like the shirts but I would stain them in no time flat. If they become available in black I might grab one or two. Even a dark blue is no match for my messiness

Thanks. I will see how this one goes and may offer a variant that will work on a black shirt after that. Appreciate the kind words.

Hey Special K, have you thought about not putting your gut in your plate when you eat? Or is that not an option?

I weigh in at a heavy 180 or so at almost 6 feet tall but for the last 10 years I've been working where safety is the first and foremost plan of action so exercising through working is not an option with all the safety stuff .

I used to say that I gained some sympathy weight when my wife was pregnant...my daughter just turned 15 so that doesn't work anymore .

I wear a large but now an extra large just to have it long enuf to cover .

I like it! I'm not making a Seinfeld reference here, but asking a serious question: are the neckholes tight? I have a normal sized head( ), but HATE tight neck Ts. I'll probably buy a grey one either way.

Hard to say since they ship direct from TeeChip, but traditionally Fruit of the Loom shirts fit pretty nicely from my experience. I know exactly what you mean.. shirts like Anvil are known for that annoying neck line.

i know the feeling i have a ton of black muscle shirts that i wear everyday down here when its scalding hot.DON
