Hi guys and girls, i got my hands on a YR-4M2 car with heaps of spares..
the car itself has a few alu upgrade parts and is probably a 7/10 car..
there are no wheels nor body..
other than this i dont really know much about these cars as i'm a kyosho person..
are these a sort after car or just put it in the roof and forget??
any feed back is welcomed

The YR4/II/M/M2: They basically defined the modern EP DTM (although sharing some DNA with the Yz10).

Masami won the (US) nationals with it.

The most sought after is the USA version with normal-sized shock as opposed to these wimpy micro-red shocks which are a total PITA,

The USA was my first DTM - also the first one I raced on my first-ever DTM race... in my first race on the American continent... and my first victory (very, very, very lucky that day). It was a club/parking-lot race, shall I add... not a national of any kind People had never seen me, I came and won with a car they'd never seen on the track before. Within 1wk, the LHS had sold out all its Yr4 kits

I have a very soft spot for them, really.

IF yours is in top-shape, yes, it could be sought after. In general however, they aren't worth much to be honest. Shame about the rainbow alloy options, though

Restore it and shelf it - it still looks like a good car after all these years, and suprisingly modern despite the saddle pack architecture

all good points..
i did spend a bit fixing up pulleys and belts but the car just didn't do anything for me.. might box it up for a rainy day.. the tekin g10 be probably more sort after..lol

Nice YR4!!

I have four YR4's of some sort and think they are awesome. Like already mentioned they don't seem to bring mega bucks but if, like me, you enjoy it then all good.

The M2 i have is a parts car which is a shame but it came with some awesome carbon bits on it like the saddle trays etc
