Well ive been buying parts on ebay when i find them cheap, or buying them at local hobby shops if i find a good deal... been going through a couple boxes of NIP parts, and dug out enough (almost enough lol) to build a box art car.. Figure everyone should own at least 1 mint one.. Got a front and rear end kit, kimbrough mounts, fiberglass battery brace and tranny brace (on the way that is lol), and new/never run novak reciever with 3 female prongs, and novak reciever with male prongs
So as soon as i can find a:
-New Chasssis
-New Noseplate
-New Front and Rear Shocks
-6 Gear Tranny top shaft
-Suitable Speed Controller (looking for a novak 1/2/3/4)
Im going to throw it together

Cadillac motor (although a
super early one without brush hood heatsinks!), Stealth motorplate...

c'mon Mike, you can do better than that!
Nice start though, I'll look to see if I've got a new topshaft for you.

Futaba G plug... Red is for Rx power (like from an external Rx pack or off the MSC), BTW.

There is a guy on ebay selling 12" G plug leads with black plugs:

Just in case you wanted to do it right...

Orange... red... Ok, not black. I guess I do have some plugs that are more red than orange, but the only servo I have with a red/orange plug is a super old S16 that was hacked quite visibly. That doesn't mean there were no servos with orange/red plugs, but I have a dozen old Futaba servos (and five Novaks, both Bantam Midget and NES1A), and all the un hacked ones are black. I'm just going by the majority. No offense intended I'm sure you realise. All the four cell RX packs I have are red/orange as are the old FP-2TF radio TX packs.

How can you tell it's a stealth motor plate?

The additional hole for the Stealth trans.
After a while you can pick 'em out in a blurry cell phone pic on ebay.
