I got this chassis in a parts lot a while back. I thought it was a Composite Craft chassis but I cannot seem to find a CC chassis model that has a shape that matches. Can you guys let me know what you think?

Awesome! Thanks for your help. I purchased a parts lot for a single part I needed for a restoration project. I have since sold off most of the items I didn't need, but still have this chassis and an almost perfect light gold A-stamp gold pan. I had thought the gold pan had been refinished since the gold was lighter in color with a slightly coarser texture. Someone has since brought it to my attention that it might be an Edinger chassis. I was honestly not aware that there was an earlier A-stamp chassis that predated the more common dark gold A-stamp (I am somewhat of a noob). It didn't come with wheels or motor and had a Stealth transmission mounted. I have since added some wheels I had lying around, as well as a period correct motor and transmision.

if the stealth holes are gold like the rest and it's an A stamp, it was very likely re-anodized.

What really made me question the finish is the texture and the faint color matched scratches on the bottom.

an A stamp did not have stealth holes, so if they were added and reanodized the countersink would be color matched. and yes, if there are scratches in the nose and near the rear kickup that are color matched, it was. No big deal, it's a nice job.
