Hello,

A few months ago a new RC track opened up very close to my house in Arlington Heights, IL. http://www.windycityrc.com/ I used this as an excuse to get my 7 year old boys into the sport and bought them a Slash. I dusted off my RC10T I raced when I was 13 and I'm in the process of updating/restoring/fixing it so I can race.

I'm blown away by all the ultra-clean restored RC10's in this forum. I was going to throw my car out and just buy a new truck, but this forum inspired me to keep and update my truck.

I've added modern electronics, brushless motor and Lipos. I picked up a Cliff Lett replica body on eBay and some new turf tires.

Very nice restore, good thing you didn't toss it out! I'd much rather have that on my shelf than a Slash...

Very nice RC10T blk05wrx. Glad you kept it! That truck is still competitive to this day. 8) Welcome aboard!

I put in a Castle 5700 a few years ago when I was just bashing it outside. That's total overkill, so I'm planning on getting a Reedy blackbox set-up so I can race at the track.

I got a new Cliff Lett replica I plan on hanging on the wall.
