today I got back some parts from the annodizers. They are slated to go on my
Composite Craft Worlds buggy. The red is a nice ruby color and looks much better in person than it does in these pics.
Here are the other parts I will be replacing

i have a link to purchase some hammad ghuman alloy shock bushings if your interested, hard to find store but they do still have them for like $10... i cleaned em out of all the other HG goodies they had at some point and left a bunch of these.. shoot me a PM if interested
or if anyone else is interested let me know and ill share the link, they have 4 left in stock it says.. they also have 4 of the lower spring retainer kits let in stock too at $10 each
Looks really sweet too, is the anodizer a local guy? i was looking to get some stuff done and the few guys locally to me are lazy lol

Firm, Red springs would be perfect, it will keep it from bottoming on landings after hitting the big ramps
Beautiful build as usual Shodog !

Was the anodizing done locally or did you have to send it out of state? I would love to send out stuff to have it re-anodized the factory gold (or as close as I can get it)

Red springs would look good. On my next hobby shop hit, I'll look for some.
I had a buddy at my work do the annodizing for me. I can't offer it up to anyone else otherwise I'd get busted.

I had a local place do some anodizing for me but it can be cost prohibitive. A WC Chassis, motor plate, nose x 2, and nose tubes cost me around $140. I believe this was actually fair since they usually do larger batches and require a min order at $250 plus.
Jim, nice car btw.

that's what's keeping me from doing it.

well i have like 5-7 chassis i would redo, along with 5+ noseplates and like 10 motor plates.. along with a box full of shock bodies and caps... then a bunch of screws... and probably a couple wheels... and maybe a few random odd and ends parts...
i guess the appeal of smelling oven cleaner for a few days to strip the old stuff off is not something i am looking forward too lol.. the anodizing part is pretty easy..

caswell sells the deluxe system for $800, or the basic kit for like $325. Probably gonna need the deluxe kit.. So $800 bucks seems like a lot, plus another $100 in dyes probably... its a lot of money... if i could anodize anything other than RC car parts i would probably invest in one.. but the only other real hobby other than RC that anodizes is paintball guns usually... and the ocasional motorcycle part... just seems expensive to me
