TQ10 need some help?

Since I keep getting told to shelf my TQ10, I have decided to restore it to stock as much as possible. Here's the issue I have at the moment. All the white parts are currently dyed orange/red. No way to change that. I have a set of arms in white(short fronts) and black with the long fronts. I have almost all the stock parts molded in black. Would it be wrong to put the black parts on it instead of the white ones?

if you want it to be "out of the box" original, then it needs to have white parts on it.

but, it wouldn't be wrong to use black parts, since most people dyed the parts black anyway. as well as other colors.

My main intention was to put it back to stock as much as possible. I would have preferred all white parts, but I had the black ones on hand. All I have left to put on is the caster blocks(all I have are 5*), rear arm mounts, and to dye the trans case black(might end up leaving it red). Right now it has a graphite rear shock tower on it and the incorrect but new front shock tower. I'm keeping all the reddish orange parts in case I decide to put it back to its former racing glory. Here are a few pics to show my progress.

Then why have you changed the shock towers and battery straps to later incorrect ones?

Excellent chassis btw should turn out nice.

I say dye it all black shock towers and all.

I figured I might as well put some later shock towers on since the originals are nice and yellowed. Besides, it's mine and I had the parts. The battery brace was put on for the hell of it to see how it looked. It's not staying on there. I originally planned to dye it all black, but wanted to wait and see if I could come up with a spare tranny case so I could keep all the orange parts. In case I decide to change it back later.

Now my future ex wife wants me to cut down my amount of toys. Since I'm keeping my planes/helicopters some of my cars will be for sale soon. :(
