Academy SB Sport help

Hey all, I know some of you have experience with the Academy SB Sport...Joey? Anyways, I took mine out this weekend for the first time in over a year. I ran a few packs then on the third it slowed down on the straights big time. I brought it in to check for a loose slipper, it was fine. Turns out the rear diff was barely holding together. I tightened it up and on the last turn, the diff screw snapped!!

I remember their being problems with these and until now, I've never had a problem. Is there anything more beefy I can use as a replacement? I'm sure Academy has something but that's going to require a trip to Ultimate Hobbies which is kinda far. Do any AE parts work?

I used the AE B4/T4/GT set up, the diff rings dont fit, but you can use the diff screw and nut, if I remeber right, you need to trim up the nut holder and it will be snug. I will search my old posts back on RC10B4 and see if I can find it.

Let me know if this helps.

Ya a couple years ago when offroad nats was here in CT Greg tried to run that car with all the options in 4wd and the diffs kept giving up... the AE rebuild kit is key!

Ok, looks like I need a diff rebuild kit with some extra washers to make up for the length of the stock t-nut, right?

Alright, I figured it out. I need the 6573 thrust washer and 2330 T-nut. These should be available at Hobby People. :)
