I am putting this here since they came on this RC10 from the bay. What are these shocks with the goofy spring cups?

Shocks are Kyosho Black Kelron, non rebuildable (well, easily anyway) cheapies.
Shock cups have the shaft guards. I think RPM makes some, they are modern so I don’t pay much attention

Darn, I was hoping for more of a challenge and something unique. Those will be going in the round bin. I agree on the modern, I am paying just enough attention to keep my B6 on track but nothing more.

Actually I think the shocks are HPI...off an RS4-MT.

Oh wow, yep Phin is right. I didn’t realize they looked that much like a kyosho Black. The pic of the MT I looked up showed those shaft guards too. Neat

Yeah HPI might have borrowed Duratrax's cloning tech and used it on Kyosho's plastic shocks. :?

Can you just see the HPI manager banging his head on the wall screaming “I said copy the GOLD shock”

I have tried to clone Brian Kinwalds skill into my driving and it did not work.
