I come to you noble lotharios asking a piece of advice...

So it's my girlfriends Birthday on Valentines day and as you are all wiser than me and perhaps shall we say longer in the tooth too I would like advice on what to do to make it special?

BTW I have a table booked and cards, flowers, chocolate etc on there way but what else can I do?

Are you getting her anyting else? A couple things i've done:

-I put each rose somewhere in the house wiht a little clue to where the next one was (made the clue something that meant something to us... like "this is where i first kissed you" and it was in the hall, "we watched your favorite movie here" living room, etc) this way she goes around and collects her flowers.

-Another time i got her a ring and being the graphics guy that i am was able to open the box of chocolate i got too, put the ring inside (bonus is that yo uget to eat some of the chocolate to make room... just don't eat her fav one) and then sealed it all back up nicey nice.

- If you're going out for dinner (and its reasonably nice weather outside), skip desert at the restraunt and get desert and take her somewhere (beach, night time picnic) and have desert there. I guess you could even do that in a car or somewhere else thats indoors or make a bon fire if its cold out.

According to all the email I receive, there are amazing products available that will make her scream! If you'd like, I can forward a few of them to you.

As you can see from the pic above, Erich and I have been taking them and, well, there's a surprise in that package!

Funny, my wifes birthday is valentines day also. Really the nicest gift you can give them is to spend time with them, give them your undivided attention and listen to their long drawn out stories. Remeber to nod your head at the appropriate times and say things like really?, no way!, that bitch is crazy!

Son-of-a.........As you can see from my surprise, I personally like to forget the entire event. Then I spend the next 6 months paying for it. Literally........

Thursday is Valentines day. Then that would make today my mothers birthday. Crap! I knew there was something important about the 12th that has nothing to do with presidents.

That's awesome. I think couple should share at least one hobby that does not involve the bedroom

My son is 18months old and already loves my r/c cars so there you go... your hobbies in the bedroom can correspond over to r/c
