Does anyone feels like the rear shocks on the optima/javelin rere should have a thiker oil? I finished building my car and when I drop it on the table from about 20cm, the rear bottom bangs on the table. I filled the shocks according to instructions.

Anyone uses a thicker oil that the one that comes with the kit? Which weight?

Thanks

Thicker oil or piston rings with smaller/fewer holes, either will help. You may need stronger springs to make sure the shocks fully decompress after changing those items.

If the oil is too thick or the piston holes too small, you'll probably get some bounce-up after a drop-test...you don't want that, either. You gotta find the sweet spot. 8)
