Hot Rod RC10

So, here I am in the middle of my winter depression and I had a thought ... what if I built a runner using some of the stuff I've accumulated for what appears no reason? Something that is almost too fast to control ... Here's the result, so far ... It a bit of a mix of parts from here and there ...

Body is a XX CR that is not anything pretty but was more of a test fit one to see if I liked it. I do, so I'll paint up a nicer one some day. I cut out a Lexan undertray (just flat stock) to protect the Composite Craft chassis. Right now, it has a 8T motor, but that may change to a brushless.

I had an M.S.R.P. gearbox strenghtening kit and front suspension shim kit on my lunchbox at one point, I've never seen or heard of another of their products since.

that's a sick runner Brian, really nice... you must be really depressed to build something like that with the intention of running it with a brushless set-up... aren't those rims from a high-lift or something?

Wheels and rear tires are from a Tamiya Pajero. They show up from time to time on Epay, but are sadly nla. High Lift are the same dimensions but different style. The rears were an easy fit with HPI adapters but the fronts are only for show until I machine something up. I was going for a realistic offroad buggy look with the wheels and tires.
