It’s been out of action for a while and I’ve decided to convert it into a stadium truck

When it was finished:

How the car is sat now after robbing some bits from it for my yz2

I snagged some rc10t rpm rear arms from eBay (rcmart) for £6.50 nip and I’ll try and find a 10t nose or convert it with modern arms etc, we shall see....

Will need to check the width once I get some wheels but trying Kyosho rb5 front arms on it

Made some progress today, with a bit of dremel work the rb5 arms went on, drilled them out to 3.2mm so I can use rc10 hinge pins

Spaced the shocks forward at the top so they are well aligned with the arm/tower

Found some losi ball cups which are a bit longer than AE ones so they have gone on with b4 turnbuckles

Wheel base is now 285mm with the Kyosho arms on the front

How's the steering working out with the new front arms?

So far so good I think, I’ll see what it’s like once I have some rims on the front

My rpm 10t arms turned up from rcmart today

Alloy b4.1 hubs mounted up, now the driveshaft issue to overcome!!

They need to be around 90mm long (cvd bone) any suggestions welcome!

Turnbuckles sorted, bit of Jconcepts and losi

Not sorted the front end yet as my rb5 arms aren’t giving me full lock, would love a rc10t front end but not found anything yet

Well my front end didn’t work using the rb5 front arms

So to move the project forward I found this lot on eBay USA and it arrived today to the Uk

I’ll clean up all the parts and get them vapour blaster and powder coated white then the build will commence!

Cleaned up all the old 10t parts and made a start!

I’ll drop the nose off for powder coat next week
