Macro shock bodies vs 0.56 stroke

Kinda. Not the same exact same size but they do have the same stroke. That's just the stroke of the shock body though. The Macro Shock's shaft is shorter than a proper .56" shock shaft.
Also the internal seals are different and I can't say whether or not they're interchangeable.

Macro shock is the same .56 body. They use .35 shock shafts and foam bladder seals. The regular o rings will fit fine. You are talking about the ones that fit tc3/4 right?

If so, those just also be the DS qualifier shocks too then?

Yeah, think so. I have a pair of blue ones for the front of one of my 870c's

I think the RC10L and some of the other 1/10 on-road cars use the Macro shock but not sure of the shock shaft length.

Many thanks for the replies.
These are the shock bodies I have in mind (Picture from an Ebay auction).
Plan is to do like jwscab and put it on a Yokomo.
