Another project I am working on is restoring my old 1/12 scale Bolink Eliminator. I have the instructions for the 1/10 scale Eliminator but I am missing the 1/12 scale version. I am wanting to put the stock axle assembly back in. My area of concern is the right hub/diff nut assembly. Its a little different than a typical associated on road diff.

Not familiar with the Eliminator but did you check out the Axle Diff Assembly explode on oldrc.com? Perhaps one of them listed in the explode might give you a hint.

Yep tried that site too. I did find some pics here. http://tsanrc.blogspot.com/2011/01/bolink-eliminator-12-differential.html
I think I have it pretty close minus the right inner wheel assembly. For now I am using an associated thrust cone with belleville washers. I also cannot find the blue ball cages. Not sure who sells them nowadays.

I don't think the rear axle is assembled correctly in those pics. There shouldn't be two thrust bearings between each wheel hub and the motor pod...only one on the outside of the right wheel. There was a review of the Eliminator 12 in the May '88 issue of RCCA and you can see in the pics there that the blue thrust bearings aren't inside the wheel hubs.

You can still get the blue thrust bearings for the outside of the diff side wheel from RJ Speed. P/N 5735. You can use the manual for an Eliminator 10 to see where it's installed.

Yes, it looked strange to me too. I'll take a look at that issue to see how the assembly goes together inside the right wheel. Thanks for the source for the ball cage!
