My name’s Rufuss and I’ve been an addict for thirty years or so. Haha
I ran across this ol’gal a while back... I purchased it from an elderly gentleman that had been building and racing rc boats since the early 70’s. Anyhow... he couldn’t remember much about it other than it was originally a “kit” build . It was later “(slightly) modified for competition “. He was pretty certain the mods were a “kit” as well. Unfortunately he couldn’t remember what mods were made outside of the obvious plastic fuel tank.
The Veco 19 is free and has damn good compression.
Transmitter identification has me stumped as well.
Sure appreciate any n all information that may be shared.

I'm not a big 1/8th scale guy, but pretty sure that an RC1 with a homemade top deck and the front axle pushed way forward on the chassis.

Wels’ir.... I think you may be correct. Now to find some parts (body,upper plate,etc) and begin the madness! Are you familiar with the transmitter?

Definitely a long wheelbase.. pic with my savage flux shell sittin on it.

The transmitter might be a DIY job - existing gear fitted into a new box. What´s the maker on the servo and the receiver?
