So I need a timeout from the RC10 FF Project.
Figured I put together the RC10 graphite I have had stashed for a good while now.

The plastics look nice and bright, is this a NIB kit or have you whitened the nylon parts?
Either way, it's going to look very nice. Do you have a body and paint scheme in mind?

Thanks guys.

It’s an old moderate used kit and the plastics have been hydro peroxide treated.
Still missing body, wing and 32P spur.
Don’t really know if to paint the body or not..
We’ll see. Time will tell

Wicked cool. What do you plan to use for electronics, old school or modern?

Thanks!
Not sure if to paint or install electronics, Old school if any. I have some Novak's lying around (receiver, ESC and servo) might do something with those, but then again a Novak NES-1 servo is a little too old for this kit. Not sure what motor. Any tips?
The kit is 1990-91 so a Reedy modified green label or ultra maybe... or go totally out of my comfort zone and look at other brands like Twister, Trinity, Peak Performance or something. Just needs to be periodically correct.

You'll have to install a steering servo to keep the wheels from flopping around!

Flopping:
A cowardly exaggerated expression of pain or injury heavily utilized by soccer players to get a red card issued on an opponent.
In most instances said soccer player shows no sign of injury or pain approximately 3 seconds after desired outcome of flopping.

Okey so I checked 1991 RCCA buyers guide and in that Novak hade it´s NES-1H servo and I only have NES-1A. A tad older so to say. Same with the NER-2S receiver.
I have an early Novak 410-M1c and that is from 1990 so spot on..
I have a Reedy Ultra Mr-R so that will go in (first seen in RCCA in Feb 1991).

Any one know the era of the Futaba FP-R2GS receiver and the S28 servo? They have G-conector so i'm guessing early 80s

For what it's worth, I have the same receiver with G connectors from my first Futaba Magnum Jr system purchased in about 1987 (mine is channel 66). I do not know when that system was first introduced.

Thanks man,
Interesting! That late. I wonder when Futaba and Novak among others phased out the G-connectors.
Feel free to comment

Not much happening on this build at the moment.
I have mounted the TQ tires on the TQ wheels.
Oh and if any one of you guys have a white 32P spure gear lying around I’m interested as that and the body is the only things missing. At least what I can tell at this moment.
