Hello folks,
Nice to be here, just getting back into RC, I haven't touched it since I was about 14 / 15. I used to race in England back in the day , I was on a real shoestring budget back then so had a Mardave Meteor and then upgraded to the Mardave Cobra when it came out. I need to check with my MUm if any of that studd is still in the attic, but I think I told her she could sell it years ago!

I'm inspired to do an RC10 build as I always wanted one, but couldn't afford it then. Hope I can get some tech help here to work out what to do.

Cheers,

hibiki

Hi hibiki! Welcome to the land of the RC10. There's a mass amount of knowledge here, surely we can help if you find yourself wondering about something. :D

Welcome onboard. You've certainly come to the right place, and good luck with your RC10 quest.

Aaahhhh... the lowly Meteor. There are many of us over in the UK who started out with one of those bitd, and there are a few still going strong it seems. If you do find your old cars have a look on here as there is a Meteor specific Fb page, sales and the like:-

Not many made it over the pond, so not everybody on here has even seen one before. I ran mine in the Iconic meeting over the summer 8)

I would be interested to hear whether you manage to find any racing in Dubai(!)

Thanks, it seems there is some racing here but the location is a little far away. I'll check it out at some point.

I haven't done any yet. Apparently there is a track out in AL Ain, they have a FB group but I haven't been over there yet. It's a bit of a drive from where I am.

It's crazy to think there is so much space there and just no tracks...
