Pencroff's introducing himself

Hello guys!
I'm joining your community because I recently acquired a second hand RC10 from a colleague of mine. I've enjoyed the hell of RC vehicles since my wife gifted me a 1/16 Tiger tank (one of these which have an airsoft gun inside of the barrel) for my birthday a couple years ago.
Since then, I've taken a liking to driving my toys through difficult terrain - mud, snow, puddles, thick grass, pebble beaches, EVERYTHING - and because of that, I only used tracked vehicles. I didn't think that wheels could outdo my tanks in such harsh conditions, until the aforementioned colleague talked me about his good ol' RC car. We had a contest, he won, and I bought him one of his RC10s.
Now I've already had some fun with it, especially since we already have some inches of snow where I live, but I'd like to know how to maintain, repair, and maybe modify or upgrade that pleasant little thing. And that's why I'm here!
I hope I'll have cool homebrews to show you guys soon.
Have a nice day!
