Quad pole rotor to dual pole...

I have a 3140kv quad pole brushless motor which broke down. To fix it I put in a dual pole rotor. Any idea of what this does to the kv?

4 pole motors make more torque but are usually lower KV, and best suited for heavier vehicles like short course and 1/8.
Don't be fooled by the lower KV is slower though, because they make more torque you can often gear them up so they perform just as well and in some cases much better.

Thanks for your reply, but you kind of missed my question. The rotor parts came loose from the axle, so I put in a dual pole rotor I had laying around. Now I'm wondering what are the consequences of this swap.
